An original 1970's wood clad, mid-century home in the California hills surrounded by over 70 old growth trees and a seasonal creek set the stage for this full gut renovation and restoration project. Preserving original architectural period details while updating this dilapidated property meant diving deep into a period study of design details. All surfaces of this home were replaced and/or given the love in salvaging for its forever family. A new fully functional kitchen, expanded family dining room and modern bathrooms with retro inspired tiles hit all the high notes in bringing this original beauty back to life. A warm, mid-century modern, organic home has emerged.
